When you're a tattoo artist, you'll become familiar with the idea that artists in the past essentially relied on their hands to put a tattoo into someone's skin before tattoo machines were designed. Obviously, tattoo machines added a speed and offered the speed that even the most talented human hand can't achieve. Therefore, the idea of tattoo machines came to fruition to the classic, innovative inventor Thomas Edison. He actually invented something called the electric engraver that was designed especially for this purpose.
